Navigil
Proactive care

Act before the emergency.

The Navigil Service gives care teams each person's measured values and trends, charted against their own baseline — so gradual change is visible early, and help can arrive before a small problem becomes a crisis.

The challenge

Reacting to crises is the costliest way to care.

The default model of care waits for a crisis: the fall that lands someone in hospital, the infection caught too late, the decline noticed only at the next appointment. For the individual, their family and the system around them, reacting late is the most disruptive and least effective way to look after people. Proactive care turns that around.

The measurements

Small signals, followed before they become symptoms.

The Navigil care watch measures a small set of meaningful signals — at rest during sleep for the vital signs, and through the day for activity. The care team follows them over time in the Navigil Service; the wearer simply wears the watch.

Resting heart rate

Measured during sleep and tracked over time, so shifts from a person's own normal stand out.

Resting heart rate variability (HRV)

A sensitive indicator of how the body is coping; measured during sleep, trended to surface gradual change.

Resting respiratory rate

Measured at rest during sleep and trended, so subtle respiratory change is visible to the care team.

Activity & movement

Daily active and highly active time is tracked, so care teams can compare movement day to day.

Event log & location

Alarm events and live location in one place, so responses are fast and informed.

These are resting and periodic measures, not a live medical monitor. They're read by the care provider in the Navigil Service — not by the wearer on the watch.

How it works

Each person is their own baseline.

The picture comes together in the Navigil Service. The Watch Dashboard is where a care provider follows a wearer's status and wellbeing; the Wellness Dashboard charts each indicator over time with a trend line, and charts can carry a personal baseline with warning and alert levels — so change is judged against what's normal for that individual. Alongside the dashboards, configurable alarms — SOS, no-movement and safe-zone — can notify the care team by email or call.

The impact

Fewer emergencies. Better outcomes. Lower costs.

Seeing change early turns reactive services into proactive ones. Teams check in before a small change becomes an incident, direct attention where it is genuinely needed, and reassure families with more than a promise. Prevention, at scale, is both kinder and cheaper than cure.

Who it's for

Built for the people responsible for care.

Navigil serves home care providers, healthcare organisations, municipalities and assisted living operators — the people responsible for many lives at once.

The watches

One capability, two watches.

Proactive care runs on the Navigil 580 and Navigil 580 D — the same capabilities inside, an analogue or digital face outside, so people wear the one they're comfortable with.
